Who we are

Lowell is a digital solutions and web development team based in Metro Manila, Philippines. For the information described here, we are the personal information controller. You can reach us about privacy at lowellgroups@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Project inquiries

• your name and email address;
• your company or organisation, if you provide it;
• your project category, description, and optional budget range and timeline;
• your agreement to this notice.

Lowell AI chat

The messages you type into the assistant, and its replies.

Technical information

• Your network (IP) address, held briefly in server memory to limit abuse of the form and chat.
• Standard request logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time, used for security and to keep the site running.

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. It stores one small flag in your browser's session storage so the intro animation only plays once; it is never sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab.

Why we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and, if you wish, prepare a proposal. We rely on your consent and on steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement.
• To answer your questions in Lowell AI, at your request.
• To protect the website from spam, abuse, and attacks, which is our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or add you to marketing lists without your consent. We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.

Who receives it

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Email delivery service (Resend) sends your inquiry to the Lowell team's inbox, which is held by our email provider.
• AI provider (Anthropic) receives your chat messages to generate replies. It processes them under its own terms and may retain them according to its own policies.
• Hosting provider runs the website and keeps the request logs described above.

Some of these providers process data outside the Philippines, including in the United States. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Live project previews

Some project pages show a live preview of a website hosted elsewhere, such as a client's site, LinkedIn, or Microsoft Power BI. The preview loads directly from that site, which may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. Lowell does not receive that information.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries stay in our email for as long as we need them to respond. If a project follows, we keep them for the length of the engagement and any period the law requires; otherwise we delete them once they are no longer needed.
• Chat messages are not saved by this website. The conversation lives in your browser tab and is cleared when you reset the chat, reload, or close the page.
• Abuse-prevention counters reset automatically within an hour.
• Hosting logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider.

How we protect it

The website is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Service credentials stay on the server and are never sent to your browser. Inquiries are not stored in a website database, access to them is limited to the Lowell team, and the form and chat are protected by input checks and request limits. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable organisational, physical, and technical measures to protect your information.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• be informed about how your personal information is processed;
• access the personal information we hold about you;
• object to processing, and withdraw consent you have given;
• have inaccurate information corrected;
• have your information erased or blocked when there are grounds to do so;
• obtain a copy of your information in a commonly used format (data portability);
• be indemnified for damages caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or unauthorised use of your information;
• file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
